Reaping the Harvest

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please bless Nspiregreen and grant us favor in the eyes of all that we come in contact with. Grant us divine connections and enlarge our territory so that we may prosper. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Nervous, no. Anxious, maybe a little. Fearful, that probably describes the feeling best. After reciting the above prayer for nearly a year and a half, why would I feel anything but sheer joy and excitement as I experience my prayer being answered?

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: … a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 KJV)

Being a small business co-owner is no walk in the park. From business development to administrative tasks to actually doing the work, there is always something to do. As a new startup, we have spent over a year in what I like to call “paperwork hell.” We have experienced countless rejection and financial strain. We have sowed many seeds and wondered if they would ever grow.

The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. (Psalm 85:12 KJV) There is a breakthrough on its way, I can feel it in my spirit. We are getting more calls, meetings, making the right connections, projects that we won months ago are actually starting and cash is beginning to flow. As all of these things begin to happen, my stomach is in knots. Uh oh, what if my skill set isn’t what I thought it was and I can’t deliver on the work? Does this mean we need to hire another person? This means I have to really move to ANOTHER city?! (sidenote: I have been asking God to move to Washington, DC for over 3 years) How can we continue to run the business and do the work?

You do indeed get what you pray for.  God is granting me the desires of my heart but I am allowing myself to be consumed with fear. Doubt is creeping in and feelings of inadequacy are showing up. Maybe I have become comfortable with the word “no.” For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (II Timothy 1:7 KJV) The spirit of fear and wishy washy mindset that I have experienced is not of God and I have to recognize it and cast it out. In Phillipians 4:13 (KJV) I learned, I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me. With this in mind, I have no reason to be fearful. God wouldn’t give us any work that He won’t give us the wisdom to figure out or the capability to handle. I am going to reap the harvest that God has promised me and walk with faith as our business expands to the billion dollar company that I prayed for and envisioned.

Dear Daddy,

Thank You for answered prayers! As You are answering prayers, continue to let us walk boldly and not retreat now that it is our time to step up to the plate and shine. Cast out any spirit that would cause us to fear the harvest. Grant us knowledge, discipline, wisdom and the resources to exceed expectations in all that You bless us with. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Today I EMPOWER you to check yourself at the door. As God is answering your prayers, remain confident in what you prayed for. Know that He will not give you what you aren’t ready to handle so if you have received it, it must be for you. I EMPOWER you to plant seeds and collect a bountiful harvest because it is true, you do reap what you sow.

  1. Chancee,
Don’t know why this flashed in my mind as I was almost done reading your post, but what I “saw” was God holding your hand. I saw you with your hand stretched out right beside you and Him holding your hand. It was on my spirit so I had to share. May God continue to bless you and may He continue to enlarge your territory in ways that you could not have EVER humanly conceived! God is able!!! Oh my God, yes HE is!!!!! He’s holding your hand Chancee,….He’s holding your hand. Stay blessed my Sister!!!!

    1. Dee thank you for sharing that with me. I will hold that in my heart knowing that God is holding my hand as he guides me through this process. Bless you my sister.

  2. God wont bless you with anything you’re not ready for. Omg I never looked @ it that way. Thank you Chancee for opening my eyes to that.

    1. Tenika I believe this to be true. We can pray for things but until God’s will lines up with our preparation we won’t have it and if we force it, it probably won’t work out right.

  3. Very beautifully written Chancee`! I am so excited about what God is about to do in your life and the places He is about to take you. (Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard!) I am just happy to know you BEFORE the billions which means I am apart of the entourage 🙂

When I read your post, I instantly thought of this quote: ‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond imagination. It is our light more than our darkness which scares us. We ask ourselves – who are we to be brilliant, beautiful, talented, and fabulous. But honestly, who are you to not be so?

You are a child of God, small games do not work in this world. For those around us to feel peace, it is not example to make ourselves small. We were born to express the glory of god that lives in us. It is not in some of us, it is in all of us. While we allow our light to shine, we unconsciously give permission for others to do the same. When we liberate ourselves from our own fears, simply our presence may liberate others.’

    1. Thank you Krissy! …you can be in my entourage anyday because I will surely be in yours. I fly with eagles who are the creme de la creme and that means you. LOVE IT! Krissy this is one of my favorite poems and I need to etch it onto my brain. Thank you for reminding me that I AM powerful beyond measure. I AM! I AM! I AM!

  4. I’m Nspired by your life and efforts. I pray that God blesses you tremendously. You will definitely reap what you sow, continue to sow God’s word and you will continue to reap the benefits.

  5. What a powerful testimony! God is working behind the scenes on all of our behalf. I’m excited for your company, and I’m even more excited that God already knows what we need before we ask. He’s just waiting on us to ask him!! Your best days are ahead of you!!

    1. Thank you Hassanah! My testimony has been ordained by God as he is working on our behalf. I am excite about my future and yours too!

  6. Chancee…..Congratulations! I’m very happy for you and what’s to come.I know you remember that song “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” This post gave me some confidence in a few things I have going right now.

    1. Amber, you’re right! …don’t worry be happy! I need to keep that mantra in mind as I reap a plentiful harvest. I pray that all goes well for you too.

  7. Thank you for your powerful words, as I read them I just knew that my reaping of my harvest is just around the corner. It is funny sometimes God can let people say the very thing you are thinking, just so you realize that he will do just what he said he would do.

    1. Jeanette you are welcome and truly all glory for this message goes to the father. He is doing a marvelous work and I am seeing net breaking going on around me. I am glad that he used me as a vessel to deliver the message you needed.

  8. THANK YOU Chancee! This word is awesome and I receive it in the name of Jesus! I feel like empowerments are prophetic words sent from God. I say this because this is conformation that in due season I will reap my harvest. God does not give you what you can not handle is true, I am living that right now but He is molding me and preparing me right now as I write this comment. I often discuss the writers and everybody connected to empowermoments and I know its not by chance that I have become apart of this family. God is doing and about to do some awesome things in all of our lives. Chancee I see billionaire behind your name because that’s what He has promised you. God is about to “blow your mind.” Jeremiah 29: 11 says For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Girl keep walking into your destiny because God got you!

    1. Sheka I receive that message in the name of Jesus and I know that God has plans for you too. Be still and know that he is God. I am glad to be a part of this Empowermoments family too and I am thankful that God has seen fit to use me.

  9. When we feel we are really to advance to the next level, God will say “Not Yet”. There is work in you that still needs to be cultivated. There are doors from your past that need to be closed; new doors that need to be opened; and most of all, I need to humble you. You need to learn to depend on Me for your needs. When this happens, I will expand your territory, give you wisdom and knowledge to succeed. You will then remember before any decision in mind while pursuing your dreams that what you have achieved has been by the grace and mercy of your heavenly Father. It is through the Father that all your blessing are received. You should never be fearful of the blessing the God has set before you. The Lord has brought you through too much, to allow you to fail now.

I love you. Congratulations. Your aunt, Tena

    1. I LOVE MY AUNTY!!!! Thank you so much for responding to my Empowermoment and more importantly for your encouraging words. God is doing a work in me even when I am sometimes resistant to change. He is preparing the way and I will walk boldly into the destiny he has prepared for me.

  10. Absolutely LOVE this…so encouraging and right in time as I and my family begin to enter our season of harvesting. I understand your feelings of fear, doubt and discouragement but just as God told Joshua, “Be strong and courageous…” God told him that repeatedly because He knew what Joshua was to face ahead. To you and I receive for myself as well, God is telling us the same, “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” Joshua 1:6-7

    1. misstootant, your comment is absolutely on time. Although I wrote this blog months ago its word is soooooo relevant in my life right now. Even in the face of adversity, I must be courageous because I know that God is about to do something truly spectacular in my life. God delivers the word that you need right on time. Thanks for your comment because it prompted me to come back and read my own post. I hope that you find Empowermoments as empowering as I do. Be blessed!
