Empower Yourself to Win!

Each month EmpowerMoments features a contest with some really cool prizes. Everyone loves to win FREE stuff so be sure to participate! Come and join the winner’s circle!

November’s Contest:

We want to know what you are grateful for this Thanksgiving. Leave a comment below telling us what you are currently thanking God for and you will entered in the drawing to win Kim Meeder’s book, Fierce Beauty. Yep, it’s just that simple!

In Fierce Beauty, Kim Meeder shares stories from her own life that challenge women to take a good, long look at what they see in their own reflection. To do a thorough self-examination and see if instead of worshipping God, they are now worshipping their own designer-influenced images. Meeder challenges every woman to let her life have a unique value and purpose, not found in self-entitlement or worldly standards. With straightforward truth and deep, life-changing encouragement, Fierce Beauty will empower women to choose who they will honor with their life, to pursue their true destiny, the will of their Creator–and by doing so, to discover the joy and fulfillment as they lay aside stereotypes, turn from selfish ambition, and confidently impact causes that matter in their community.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

**The fine print: You must be an active subscriber at the end of the contest period to be eligible for the prizes. Limit one entry per person. Contest winners within the last 60 days are ineligible. 1. My Husband. I’m a stay-at-home mom so he is the bread getter and he works a full-time job, does full-time ministry(praise team and intersessor’s),volunteers on his off days to help at-risk teens, and visit inmates at Cook county’s jail. He still has a close realationship with the Father, reads his word(everyday!!!),pray for us(our girls,me,and him),make it to church on time,LOVE me,and still helps his widowed mom out alot. I’m thankful for him because through him I recieve the grace and Love of God. Plus,he sharpens me to stay on my walk.

  2. I’m thankful for my grandmother who is 90years old. She has been the rock of the family and my best friend. She’s a peace maker and a worry free woman. We’ve had the greatest times together. I received a phone call that she’s been hospitalized and isn’t going to make it. But God I’m so thankful for my grandma (my momma).

  3. I’m thankful to God for his comforting holy spirit, I lost my Junior Brother, last August 27, 2011, Late Olasupo Taiwo, but before that I had earlier lost my only sister, 12yrs ago, Late Abosede Taiwo (1999). God has been there for us in our times of distress….its a dark valley for us, but I thank God for my parents, that the two incidence didnt cause any stroke in their bodies. Above all, I know that my redeemer liveth, and though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. I beseech you once more to continue to pray for me and my family, that God in his infinite mercy, continue to abide with us and through our lives, we may show the excellency of his marvellous grace. It is well with my soul.

  4. I have so many things to be thankful for…waking up in my right mind every morning, my home (because there was a big chance I would have lost it this year but God still answer prayers), my health, the health of my parents who are getting older, my job (because not too long ago I was unemployed)…and all the little things in between. I am truly THANKFUL each and every day for all of my many blessings!

  5. I’m thankful that God sees fit to wake me up in the mornings. I know that each day is a precious gift that is not shared with all. So to think that God thinks I’m special enough to share the gift of life with is remarkable. Thank you Jesus!!
