Are You Having A Spiritual Heart Attack?

All of a sudden I feel anxious, unproductive, frustrated, and on top of that seconds later I get a migraine! What in the world is going on with me?  Why am I feeling this way?  So many things  at once going through my mind: Where can I find a job?  When will I make enough to be able to live on my own? When will I be able to afford my own car? How can I put my gifts into action? I have all these business ideas, how will I start them? Thought after thought turns into question after question, which transforms into intense frustration!

Didn’t the Word promise that my God SHALL supply ALL my needs according to His riches and glory? (Phillipians 4:19) Didn’t God tell me He takes care of the grass in the field and the lilies? Neither one sows, nor builds His kingdom so what more will He do for me? (Matthew 6:25-30) Didn’t God also tell me IF I seek His kingdom and righteousness first, ALL things will be added to me? (Matthew 6:33) So why am I tripping?

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (Isaiah 26:3 NLT) I’m tripping because for a moment I took my thoughts off Him, which caused my trust to drift, and my peace went with it! I know what just happened…I just had a spiritual heart attack! Naturally and spiritually, the heart is a major organ. When one is having a heart attack, there is a lack of blood flowing through the heart muscle to the heart. Lack/loss of blood causes dead tissues and this is called infarction. (Heart attacks are called cardiac infarctions) Let’s go spiritual…The heart gives life to the spirit. If there isn’t the right amount of faith (blood) flowing through the heart muscle to the heart, it causes dead thoughts (tissues). Once the mind is off Christ, one begins to experience spiritual heart attack symptoms like natural heart attack symptoms–demonic pressure (chest discomfort, mild pain), confusion (dizziness), difficulty confessing the word of God (coughing), spirit man uneasy (nausea), and sudden loss of faith (crushing chest pain).  In the midst of a spiritual heart attack, all we need to do is re-direct our focus to the Healer! He is able to heal spiritual heart attacks when we open up our mouths and confess His word! This brings Him on the scene immediately! In a faith fight, we must make declarations; this immediately shifts our focus back to the One who is able to do ANYTHING except fail.

Dear Daddy,

Please help me to TRULY keep my mind on You daily! Inspite of my current situations, please help me to understand that this is to develop me, not destroy me. Daddy, continually remind me that You know what You’re doing! (Jeremiah 29:10-11) Father, I desire to be all You want me to be in Your kingdom and I am willing to take the necessary steps to get there. I thank You that my faith in You stands and continues to grow! I EXPECT Your promises to manifest! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Ladies, I EMPOWER you to walk by faith and not by sight! Remember your current situations are temporal and subject to change at any moment! Don’t cut off the Blood supply to your spirit! Today, strengthen your faith with PRAISE!
