“But it was just my imagination
Running away with me
It was just my imagination
Running away with me…”
How often do we sit back and day dream or let our imaginations run wild? This is one of my favorite songs. In this song The Temptations are talking about a special young lady that they see themselves being with, but for me the song runs a little deeper than that.
This past week has been an eye opener, a revelation, and a “praise be to GOD” lesson. See, I’ve been putting “limits” on what God can do for me. I’ve been praying easy going, simple prayers. My imagination has been running wild, but I haven’t been BOLD in my prayers to God.
Psalms 37:4; Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your hearts desires. (NLT)
Just last week someone told me God wants to give me an Ephesians 3:20 experience—above all I can ask or imagine.
Ephesians 3:20 says “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (NLT)
It’s all about stepping out on faith, believing it in our hearts and professing it. No more imagining for me. Psalms 25:1 put’s it best: O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God. (NLT)
You said we have not because we ask not. Thank You for showing Yourself in my life. I love You and I trust You. I know my best days are ahead of me. I am ready for you to blow my mind! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Ladies, I EMPOWER you to be BOLD when praying to God. He can do the impossible. He is ready to “WOW” us, beyond our imaginations.
Just like The Temptations, let your imagination run wild with what God can do for you:
