When God says do it; He, who is our source, already planned the resources to accomplish the Task!
By the end of this EmpowerMoment, I will have a praise break but I have to tell you how I came to this. This year has been a year to remember, so let me begin. My credit is probably lower than anyone that is reading this EM and I knew that I needed to move. I prayed and asked God to cover me and protect me because I knew I wouldn’t be able to uproot my life so quickly. I knew that Jesus still did supernatural things but I didn’t even imagine that it was coming my way. I knew I was going to become a homeowner eventually but not by the end of the summer. Let me tell you about God! I am moving in less than a month to a house that is less than the rent I have paid for four years, did I forget to mention with no money down. I thought I would need to settle and that’s when God came and gave me a supernatural blessing.
As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.” Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered. “Bring them here to me,” he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Matthew 14:16-21 NIV)
The disciples thought they did not have the resources to feed the people so they were going to turn them away. I thought I was not equipped and did not have the resources to become a homeowner and almost turned away, but God made it happen. I know this move is God because everything is aligning. Everything is falling into place effortlessly. God told me it was time to go, and I kept sitting and waiting because I know I had STUFF to work on. God showed me that He didn’t care about my STUFF; He had already planned the resources for my move into my house.
Jesus is still working miracles today. Even though the disciples thought that they were not equipped, Jesus made a miracle happen. In life, we often think we are not qualified or equipped for a task or assignment and we miss out on our blessing. We miss out on our ministries, employment, mates, houses or whatever task God has equipped us for. Had the disciples sent the people away without consulting Jesus, the people would have missed out on a supernatural blessing from Jesus. How many times have you left some place or gave up on something because you thought you wouldn’t qualify?
I thank you for your super natural blessings. I thank you God for qualifying and equipping me for tasks when I think I am not ready. God, I pray that you continue to prepare me for my destiny. As I move to the next levels in every area of my life, continue to give me undeniable favor. God, while I am moving into these levels, continue to teach me to be a good steward over the many blessings that you have bestowed upon me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Ladies, I empower you to go when God says go and do when God says so because He has already prepared you with the resources to be successful. Get out of your own way and stop being fearful. Don’t think or talk your way out of another supernatural blessing: a promotion, employment, marriage, children, relationships, homes, cars, healing or whatever He has for you. When it is God’s will for your life everything aligns and works for you because He has prepared you.
What is God telling you to do right now? How is He preparing you?
