In any one day, each of us will have multiple interactions with other human beings. Unless you live by yourself, stay in your home, don’t answer any emails or phone calls, and neglect technology then it’s inevitable.  Some of your interactions may be neutral and even forgotten.  Some may be bad and linger for days, months, or years. Some may be encouraging and positive and affect us as much as the negative ones (linger on for days, months, or years).

Both negative and positive interactions can be transforming because who we were before the interaction and who we are afterwards was altered. We will have our perspective, direction, or attitude changed because of these interactions.

Our relationship with God is the same way. One day you and I were introduced to Jesus and from that moment forward we were changed for eternity. Daily as we get into our word, pray, and hear His voice we are being changed.

Have you been interacting with God lately? I want you to be honest. Have you been fellowshipping with Jesus lately or are you lacking in fellowship and interaction with Him? I’m not speaking of your church attendance or your busy-ness in ministry, but I’m speaking of your inward attitude towards Jesus. I want you to know that this can’t ever be measured by your commitments or busyness.

Do you want to accomplish your goals? Do you want a better prayer life, love walk, and complete prosperity (spiritually and naturally)? Then you must understand the will of God in order for your faith to be activated to receive your desires. The most important and purposeful interaction we should have daily is with Jesus. We interact with Him when we read our word, pray, praise, and worship Him. The word does declare: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 1 John 1:1-4 NIV)

Have you been interacting?

Dear Daddy,

We come to You asking for Your grace. Lord we confess we need to be reestablish our interaction with Jesus. Jesus forgive us and come to us right where we are. We need You and we ask for change on today. We are more than servants, but we are Your children and love on us Father. We invite the force of the Holy Spirit to change us from within. Right now, in the authority of the name of Jesus, I bind every evil force, demonic force and spirit that will hinder the person who believes these words as they pray. We take by faith Your will Lord and pray these things in Jesus name, Amen.

I EMPOWER you on today to re-establish and re-examine your interaction and relationship with Jesus. I encourage you to not stay at the cross, but go before the throne this morning and let the Lord have His way!

What is your favorite way to interact with Jesus?
