Faith Fridays are all about providing a visual to strengthen your faith. Some times we just need to witness the awesome moves of God in someone else’s life to remind us that He is real and can still perform miracles in our own lives! If we just believe, anything is possible with God!
“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:10-12 KJV)
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (Rev. 12:11 NIV)
Remember how Jesus equipped the disciples to go out to evangelize, disciple, heal and deliver others (Luke 10). When the 72 returned from their mission, they were full of joy and told the Lord that even the demons submit to them in His name. Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:18-20 NIV)
These scriptures all remind us that walking by faith isn’t just about stepping out into the unknown with complete trust in God, but it is also about walking in the authority of Jesus Christ and in the power of the Blood of Jesus. It is about putting on the full armor of God, not being afraid to stand in the gap for others, and surrendering to God even if it cost us our lives. It is NOT about shrinking back or letting the enemy intimidate you because The Lord graciously shares His authority and inheritance with everyone who believes in Him and calls on His name.
