Faith Fridays are all about providing a visual to strengthen your faith. Some times we just need to witness the awesome moves of God in someone else’s life to remind us that He is real and can still perform miracles in our own lives! If we just believe, anything is possible with God!
Repeat after me: I believe, therefore I receive.
Speak it from the heart: I believe, therefore I receive.
Now repeat it again and fill in the blank: I believe, therefore I receive _____________________.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24 NIV) There are two key words in this scripture. You guessed right; they are believe and received. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that it is so, done, here, already, in effect, now, etc. As long as it is according to His word, your belief in God’s Word and trust in Him should accompany your prayer and not doubt. And believe you received it! Received is past tense. It already came to be. So the next time you are claiming your healing, stop and recite the scripture again. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 KJV) By His stripes we ARE healed! Not going to be, coulda, shoulda, woulda, but are healed. Now I know it is hard to sometimes see something that we can’t see naturally, especially when there is no evidence of what you are trying to believe. You begin to focus more on the situations and the tribulations, and not God. You let dangerous doubt hinder you from receiving what is already yours.
As you watch this video, notice how this woman began to take her eyes off of her health issues to focus on what the Lord had already given her. She BELIEVED and RECEIVED her healing.
