I’m asking her to change her ways
Take a look at her and then make a change
As many times as I look in the mirror brushing my teeth, applying makeup, combing my hair, and taking that final glance before I walk out the door. I never once said I Love You to the woman in the mirror.
I sit back now and ask myself when did I stop loving myself enough? I tell everyone else I love them, but I skip myself. Self-love is the most important aspect a person could have about themselves. The more I examine my life, I find my lack of self-love is probably because I started to settle for less than the best, putting others over before myself or just caring more about my outer shell than my inner being.
Genesis 1:27 (NLT) says, so God created human beings in his own image in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
How can I not love myself? I’m created in the image of my Heavenly Father. He is so Perfect. I should look at myself daily with joy and say:
I AM GREAT
I AM BEAUIFUL
I AM SUCCESSFUL
I DESERVE THE BEST
I LOVE YOU
Listen clearly to Ephesians 5:29 (NLT), No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body. No matter what the opinions of others may be. No matter how the world tries to condemn you. You should always remember that you belong to the most High and it’s time to start acting like it. Be a Confident Christian. Fall in love with yourself, don’t wait for someone to fall in love with you.
When I held my head down in doubt of myself and my abilities, thank You for reminding me how wonderfully made I am. When I make my relationship with You better, everything else will fall in place. Thank You for loving me when I didn’t love myself enough. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
Ladies, today I EMPOWER and motivate you to look at the woman in the mirror and tell her you love her. Tell her how great she is. Cherish the life God gave you.
